Hyderabad: Former Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today exuded confidence that her party would wipe out the ruling TRS party in the 2019 elections. She said the Congress was very strong in Telangana State in terms of cadre.
Participating in the Chevella, Malkajgiri Parliamentary Constituencies’ level review meeting at Indira Bhavan here on Tuesday, Sabitha made it clear that she would contest 2019 elections from Maheshwaram Assembly constituency. She said there were hundreds of leaders in the Congress like Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, but they don’t indulge in over action. Internal freedom in the Congress was more unlike the TRS party. She said the Telangana Congress leaders would remain united if the need arises. (NSS)
