CPI seeks judicial inquiry into gangster Nayeem case

Hyderabad: CPI Telangana secretary and former MLA,  Chada Venkat Reddy today demanded that the state government order a judicial inquiry into gangster Nayeem case.

In a press statement,  the CPI leader has slammed the state government for offering clean chit to some police officials from the gangster case. The step of releasing the 25 police officials free of no involvement is to dilute the case,  he expressed discontent. The state government cannot show sympathy for heinous criminals he said.

Nayeem gangster was known for several land grabbings,  murders,  rapes, and looting he charged. However, the TRS government is trying to dilute this case for no reason he contended.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should intervene and punish all those involved in the gangster case he said.

The CPI leader has asked the KCR government to order a judicial inquiry into this case to unravel facts and punish those who helped the gangster. It is not right to dilute this case,  he felt.
