CPI’s Plea to People to Help Rain-hit Kerala

Hyderabad: CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has called upon the people of Telangana to extend their helping hand to the people of Kerala, who were facing severe hardships due to uninterrupted rains for the last several days. He said that Kerala people stranded in flood water and died due to nature calamity. Half of Kerala state was submerged in rain water and the people of Kerala were being cut-off relations with the outer world. They were starving with the lack of food availability and already 70 persons were died.

Chada asked the centre to extend its helping hand to the people of Kerala. He has also asked the people of Telangana to extend their helping hand as the CPI was conducting three-day program to receive money, goods, food grains, medicines etc from the people on August 17-19 to send the same to Kerala.
