CPL leader Bhatti Vikramarka demands center to withdraw controversial farm laws

Hyderabad: Terming the three controversial farm laws as anti-farmer, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today demanded the central government to withdraw the three controversial farm laws in the wake of the stay given by the Supreme Court of India on their implementation.

Speaking to media persons in the city, he demanded the state government to pass a unanimous resolution in the state assembly opposing the implementation of the three laws.

He said that he had written a letter to the chief minister of the state with the same demand. Targeting CM of the state KCR, he said that the CM, who had initially opposed the farm laws by holding a Bharat bandh program, later took a complete U-turn on the issue after his Delhi visit.

He said that the farmers of the state were scared a lot due to the U-turn of the CM on the farm laws issue. He advised the CM to not keep the interest of the farmers of the state at the feet of Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi for his own vested interests.

He warned the state government that the Congress party would not keep silent if it closed down all the food grains procurement centers.
