CS holds review on EODB reforms

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary SK Joshi today instructed the officials concerned to complete the rest of 20 reforms implementation by February 15 as part of Ease of Doing business Action Plan 2019.

Addressing a meeting with the officials at Secretariat here today, the Chief Secretary reviewed on EODB action plan and appreciated them for implementing 60 reforms in ease of doing business. The State Government is to submit its report to the Centre on the same by the end of February and the process would be speeded up, he said. Focusing on feedback from potential users, the CS held a meeting with those industrialists, who set up business by taking permission from the government, he said and asked the departments to coordinate with the Centre and address the issues related. The departments have shown better working spirit and same has to be followed for implementing 20 reforms as part of ease of doing business action plan, he said.

Industries principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan said that 10 out of 20 reforms are related to more than one department. Rankings will be given on opinion being collected on reforms implementation and form strategy on feedback from the industrialists. The government will give compliance report to the Centre by Feb end he said. He directed the officials to speed up the works of lands record portal, mutation of land records, drinking water, power, trade licenses and others. (NSS)
