Amaravati: Many parts and streets of the East Godawari district of AP witnessed deserted look as the Curfew was imposed in the Dist this Sunday too.
The Dist Collector has ordered to impose the curfew to be imposed every Sunday in the wake of the corona outbreak. Shops were closed in Kakinada, Amalapuram, Ravulapalem, Atreyapuram, and Kottapeta.
The people were confined to their homes. The curfew has been imposed from 6 am today in view of the rising number of corona cases in the district.
Police are taking action against those who come on the roads in violation of the rules and seize vehicles from them.
