Dattatraya resents Rahul’s “childish” antics

Hyderabad : BJP senior leader and former Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya today said the allegation of Congress president Rahul Gandhi in connection with CBI episode was “politically motivated”. “There is no iota of truth in the allegations of Rahul Gandhi”, Dattatraya said and alleged that it was a childish behaviour of Rahul Gandhi whose party had misused the CBI during its regime. The Congress leaders have no right to talk about corruption as most of its leaders, including former Union ministers were involved in various scams, he said. When the Modi government was taking measures to maintain institutional integrity of the CBI after the controversy between two top officers of the organisation, Rahul Gandhi was making baseless allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi even after CVC ordered an inquiry into the episode. It was shameful on the part of Rahul Gandhi, who was enacting drams just to derive political mileage, Dattatraya said, adding that Rahul Gandhi and his party leaders have been indulging in levelling baseless charges.
