Dayakar Rao asks officials to be alert in rain hit districts

Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj Minister,  E Dayakar Rao today alert and instructed officials to shift people in low lying areas in Warangal and Bhupalpally districts of Telangana hit by continuing rains. 

E Dayakar Rao announced a high alert in the districts as low lying areas submerging with heavy rains and floods. 

E Dayakar Rao from his Parvathagiri camp offline has instructed officials to be extra alert of rains and floods. Shift the people caught up in low lying areas to safety and provide all facilities the minister said. Immediately start rescue measures and avoid any sort of discomfort and inconvenience to people Dayakar Rao said. 

It may be said hers that 10 farmers caught in floods were rescued using helicopters at the Kundanpally area in Bhupalpally district. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has called the minister and spoke on incessant rains.  KCR asked the ministers, and officials to be extra alert in previous Warangal and Karimnagar districts of Telangana.

Dayakar Rao instructed the official machinery to provide security and safety to rain and flood victims.  Taking a cue, Dayakar Rao has asked the officials to initiate serious steps to prevent loss of life and properties

As per the instructions of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on 15th august 2020 held a teleconference with the district collectors and took stock of the arrangements put in place for handling the situation arising out of incessant rain and floods in the Telangana over the past few days.

Speaking on the occasion, the Telangana Chief Secretary asked the collectors to be on high alert as there are indications that the rain is likely to continue for a few more days. He asked all the officials to remain in headquarters, work in close coordination, and ensure that no loss of lives or property takes place in the state.
