Delhi Air Quality May Take A Low Hit Again From Wednesday

Delhi-NCR’s Air Quality Index (AQI), which enlisted a slight improvement by falling under the ‘poor’ category, is probably going to get back to the very poor’ classification because of a shift in the winding course from Wednesday onwards.

Wind From Northeast, Northwest May Deteriorate Air Quality In Delhi

In its most recent notice, the Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi (Ministry of Earth Sciences) said: “The transcendent surface wind is probably going to be coming from Northwest course during daytime and from Northeast heading during evening/night with wind speed 05-10 kmph and fundamentally clear sky on November 23.

The dominating surface wind is probably going to be coming from the Southeast course of Delhi with wind speed 05-10 kmph, predominantly clear sky and shallow mist in the first part of the day on November 24.

“The prevalent surface wind is probably going to be coming from the Northwest heading of Delhi with wind speed 05-08 kmph, principally clear sky and shallow haze toward the beginning of the day on November 25.”

On Sunday, the air quality apparently worked on in Delhi after solid surface winds moved throughout the city, as per the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).

Delhi Reached 9 Degrees On Wednesday

It added that the AQI on Wednesday remained at 280 under the ‘poor’ classification.

An AQI somewhere in the range of nothing and 50 is considered ‘great’; 51 and 100 ‘acceptable’; 101 and 200 ‘moderate’; 201 and 300 ‘poor’; 301 and 400 ‘exceptionally poor’; then, at that point, somewhere in the range of 401 and 500 ‘serious’.

The degree of PM 2.5 and PM 10 toxins at 9 a.m. was recorded at 114 (poor) and 220 (moderate), individually.

In the interim, Delhi’s base temperature plunged to 9 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, with India Meteorological Department (IMD) foreseeing a primarily clear sky for the duration of the day.

The most extreme temperature for the day is fixed at 27 degrees Celsius and the relative stickiness at 8.30 a.m. was 95%.

As indicated by the IMD, Delhi will observer hazy mornings this whole week.
