Deliberate attempt by BJP to hurt Muslim sentiments: Owaisi on Raja Singh’s remarks

The president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, Asaduddin Owaisi, called T Raja Singh’s alleged derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammed deliberate.

Asaduddin Owaisi said that terming it a controversial statement is wrong. The MLA deliberately made this statement. Nupur Sharma made offensive statements first, and now Raja Singh has done the same. This means that the BJP party hates Muslims and is determined to hurt their sentiments. Such statements illustrate the BJP’s hatred for Prophet Mohammed and the Muslim community.

AIMIM’s president said the union government apologized for Nupur Sharma’s comments, and now Raja Singh has made similar statements

“Is the BJP planning to harm the social fabric of the country? What BJP will learn from such instances. India is home to people of many faiths,” he said.

Owaisi further stated that the MLA could not have made such statements without the knowledge or permission of the BJP leadership. He said that the BJP party has made it an official policy to target Prophet Mohammed and Muslims. The party is not concerned about the social fabric of the country and wants to divide communities.

In order to strengthen the criminal case, Asaduddin Owaisi demanded the State police record the voice samples of Raja Singh and send them to the Forensic Science Laboratory.

He said the BJP is unable to digest the fact that Telangana has a peaceful law and order situation and no communal riots have been reported. Hyderabad has become a destination center for pharmaceutical and software companies. Corporate giants are establishing centers here, he said.

Additionally, he said the BJP is inciting communal violence in Telangana for political gain and to halt the growth of the state. Owaisi condemned the MLA’s statement and urged people not to get provoked and not to break the law over the statements.
