Dethrone Centre, TRS regimes: CPI

Hyderabad : CPI National General Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy today called upon people to dethrone the dictatorial and corrupt central and state governments. Addressing a CPI state level meeting here, Reddy accused the Centre and Telangana Governments of resorting to corrupt policies and providing dictatorial rule. Both the governments are being caught in the web of scams while the media which is to expose the misdeeds and inform the people are not doing so. Instead the media houses are in the clutches of the government he fumed.

About 20 per cent of people are not aware of infamous Rafale scam of thousands of crores. He charged that the BJP Government at the Centre compromised on national security by doing a favour to Anil Ambani by not giving the contracts of fighter flights to state own HAL.

We are making serious efforts to dethrone the TRS regime in coordination with the Congress, TDP and TJS he said. However the seats sharing issue is yet to finalise by the congress despite political agreement he said. CPI national secretary Atul Kumar Anjan alleged that an impromptu emergency is prevailing in the country. People, leaders have lost their rights to speak, media is in the grip of the Centre and corporate companies buying the electronic media he charged.

Anjan also accused TRS boss KCR of befriending with the Centre and murdering the democracy. He asked the leaders and people to make efforts to dethrone KCR rule. Those present were Aziz Pasha, Ch Venkat Reddy, Palla Venkat Reddy, K Sambasiva Rao, Gunda Mallesh, Pashya Padma, E Narsimha, T Srinivas Rao and others. (NSS)
