Hyderabad: Former PCC president and former MP V Hanumantha Rao today said that the distribution of lands to the poor people of the state was the real tribute to the former PM of the country PV Narasimha Rao, who introduced land reforms in the undivided Andhra Pradesh State.
He alleged that the TRS led state government was taking away the lands from the poor people of the state. He also alleged that Chief Minister KCR who promised to hold the PV Narasimha Rao was centenary birthday celebrations across the world, was killing the Dalits of the state after taking away their lands.
Addressing media persons, he alleged that Chief Minister KCR had taken away the 13 Guntas of the land of a Dalit farmer by name B.Narsimhulu and forced him to commit suicide. Rao said that he visited the family members of the deceased farmer and extended ₹10,000 of financial assistance personally. He said that the family had a patta related to the land.
