CM KCR issued notification for over 90,000 govt jobs
Keeping in mind the aspirations of the unemployed youth, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said that the State government will begin direct recruitment immediately to fill 80,039 positions. The government has also agreed to regularise the services of 11,103 contract workers who are already working, bringing the total recruitment in Telangana to 91,142 positions in various departments.
The financial effect of filling 80,039 vacancies and regularizing 11,103 contractual staff on the State government will be Rs 7,300 crores per year.

The Chief Minister announced on Wednesday, amid the thumping of benches in the Assembly, that the upper age limit for direct recruitment will be eased by ten years, allowing more unemployed people to compete in the proposed recruitment.
As a result, with the exception of uniformed services such as police, the upper age limit for all other positions will be 44 years for OC, 49 years for SC, BC, ST, 54 years for physically handicapped, and 47 years for ex-servicemen.
