Mohammad Mahmood Ali Telangana Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue), hold a review meeting on Monday directed the officials concerned to make all the necessary arrangements for the Ramzan festival to be celebrated in June.
In this meeting the adviser to the government (Minorities Welfare) AK Khan, the MLC and Wakf Board Chairman Mohammad Saleem and Senior Officials were present, the Dy CM said that 500 Gift-Packs will be distributed at each of the 800 Masjids in the state from May 31 which include 400 Masjids in the Hyderabad City and another 400 in the districts.
In addition to this an amount of Rs 1 lakh has been sanctioned for the each Masjid for Iftar. He also directed the officials concerned to make elaborate arrangements for Iftar to be held at Fateh Maidan (L.B.Stadium), here on June 8.
