Hyderabad: M. Dana Kishore, District Electoral Officer & GHMC Commissioner, has said the services of seven Deputy Collectors, 15 Tahsildars, 100 VROs are being utilized under the leadership of Ravi, Joint Collector, for Corrections, Additions, Deletions and so on in the electoral rolls along with identifying double entries duly deleting them and inclusion of young voters, who have attained 18 years of age along with verifying the 1000+ names of the VVIPs in each Assembly Constituency around 15,000+ VVIPs will be checking on 15th, 16th and 17th of this month for three days continuously, said the DEO.
Along with the GHMC officials, the senior officials of various HODs of Government Departments are also being taken up for cent percent correction etc., in the electoral rolls and this is the first time that Revenue Officials have been deputed for the purpose and all necessary information, electoral rolls with Assembly Constituency wise have been provided for them for strengthening the existing electoral rolls and to utilize the modernized software O NET 2.5 provided by ECI. This 3 days programme will be as per the guidance and supervision of Raghunandan Rao, Collector, Hyderabad District and Amrapali, Addl. Commissioner, GHMC, said the DEO. (NSS)
