Day curfew was lifted from the town on Monday and no untoward incident occurred anywhere in the town during the last 24 hours.

Officials said the night curfew will, however, continue in the town as a precautionary measure.

Tension had gripped Bhaderwah following controversial remarks made by former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma about Prophet Muhammad.
