With increasing consumer awareness and significant reduction in EV costs, Niti Aayog estimates that the electric vehicle business opportunity in India could add up to $300 billion by 2030 (about Rs 20,00,000 crores). At the same time, the industry is currently at a very nascent stage, with significant uncertainties and challenges.
