“Fabricated figments of imagination”- India responds to Pak claims

Giving a mighty blow to Pakistan over its accusations, India responded to its arch rival by terming the allegations of terror involvement as “figments of imagination”.

The claims of India’s role in the terrorist attacks on Pakistan were met with heavy words of Anurag Srivastava, the External Affairs Ministry Spokesman.

The spokesperson said in his statement during a media briefing that Pakistan’s”desperate attempt” will not see the support of many as the global community knows about the activities of Pakistan and its history of terrorism not just in India but elsewhere as well. He added the admittance of terror funding by its “own leadership” which speaks volumes for itself in the weak attempts of the country to hold India guilty of striking its land.

Pakistan met with the brutal reply of India just a day after its Foreign Minister gave a press conference during which he alleged that India is involved in the terror blasts of his country. The conference, handled by Shah Mahmood Qureshi and the military spokesperson Major General Babar Iftikhar, was organized to show the alleged evidence Pakistan had to back its claim of India’s terror strikes.

Mr. Srivastava, in his reply to the claims, called the allegations as “another futile anti-India propaganda exercise”. With no credibility to rest their decisions on, the spokesman said that there won’t be many buyers in the international society for these allegations.

“…fabricated and represent figments of imagination,” said Mr. Srivastava, referring to the “proofs” Pakistan claimed to possess.

According to the spokesperson, the conference was held to shift the global attention from Pakistan’s internal politics and economics low hits to terrorism across boundaries. He said that the country is aiming to justify its role in terrorism and ceasefire violations at LoC, Jammu and Kashmir.

“The face of global terror, Osama Bin Laden, was found in Pakistan, Pakistan’s PM glorified him as a ‘martyr’ from the floor of Parliament, he admitted the presence of 40,000 terrorists in Pakistan. Their science and technology minister proudly claimed involvement and success of Pakistan, led by its prime minister, in the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 Indian soldiers were martyred,” Mr Srivastava said.

The world has tread back on the steps of terrorists and often found their starting point in Pakistan, the spokesperson said while also mentioning that Pakistan won’t be successful in its tactics by formulating fake documents and furnishing false evidence against India. He added the ministry’s confidence in the world’s refusal to consider the claims as legitimate.

Pakistan, in a press meet, had held India responsible for guiding terror attacks in its country. It also claimed to have “evidence”, including an audio clip and a dossier of data. The Pak minister alleged that Indian intelligence agents were operating from Afghanistan to conduct strikes in the nation.
