Farmer Unions Call For Bharat Bandh Tomorrow, Delhi Police Tightens Security

Amidst the ongoing farmer’s protests by the unions against the three farm laws, there is a Bharat Bandh call on Friday. The Delhi police have heightened the security around the national capital.

Delhi Police To Regulate Bharat Bandh

As per the latest reports, a senior official said that all the personnel of the Delhi Police will be available on the ground as part of the security arrangements. The police officials from the Delhi Police HeadQuarters said that the security arrangements will also include the Police Control Room vans, motorcycle patrolling teams, and the Quick Response Team (QRT).

An official spokesperson of the Delhi Police said that the entire Delhi Police will be on the ground. They have made adequate law and order arrangements against the band. The district authorities have also been informed to have their men on the ground from morning itself.

Preparations have also been made at the borders as well. He said that the barricades and pickets have been installed so no person with ill intentions can enter the city.

Samyukta Kisan Morcha Calls For Bharat Bandh

The farmers union has been protesting against the farm laws from the past four months. And for the same, Samyukta Kisan Morcha has called for a Bharat Bandh on Friday. They demand the complete repealing of the three agricultural laws, cancellation of all police cases against farmers, a law on MSP and procurement, reducing prices of diesel, petrol and gas along with rollback of electricity and pollution bills.

In a recent statement, the farmer union said they will blocking all the minor and big roads and trains. And except the ambulance and other essential services, all will remain suspended on Friday. Many farmers from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab have come to join the protests with the farmers against the three farms laws.
