A fatal accident occurred on Thursday morning in Narayanpet when a car carrying three people collided with a truck from behind at Gudigandla hamlet in Makthal mandal. Basha and Shikoor, both 50 years old and residents of Sattennapalli mandal in Palnadu district, Andhra Pradesh, were killed in the crash.
Another person, Venkat Rao, was hurt and was sent to the Government General Hospital in Mahabubnagar for treatment.The incident occurred on their way back from Goa to Hyderabad, and the automobile collided with the truck while attempting to overtake it.
The force of the collision was strong, forcing the car to become wedged in the back of the truck and dragged for over half a kilometer before being rescued by other vehicles.Witnesses to the accident overtook the truck and told the driver about the collision, causing the truck to come to a halt. The truck driver, on the other hand, fled the site of the accident.
Prashanth, the car’s driver, suffered minor injuries in the crash. The incident is currently being investigated by police to discover the cause and circumstances of the collision.
