In the early hours of Friday, a horrific catastrophe occurred in Kaslapur village, Narsingi mandal, Medak district. When a container lorry collided with another vehicle from behind, two people were killed.
The vehicle caught fire immediately after the incident, killing the driver and his assistant who were inside the container lorry. Both individuals were recognised as Bengaluru residents. At the time of the mishap, the container lorry was delivering items from Amazon and Flipkart.
The impact of the collision is suspected to have rendered the two individuals unconscious, preventing them from leaving the vehicle before it caught fire. An investigation into the specific circumstances of the collision is presently underway.
