On Saturday, August 11, a large fire broke out at the Cinemas in the Tapadia Maruti Infinity Mall in Chandanagar. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported as of yet.
The incident occurred at 6 a.m., when the mall was empty. The fire quickly devoured the multiplex cinema hall on the mall’s fifth floor. Sadly, three of the five screens at the multiplex were severely damaged by the flames.
Firefighters and Disaster Response Force (DRF) members rushed to the area to extinguish the fire and mitigate any potential injury. The blaze was brought under control with the help of four fire engines.

The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined, according to authorities from the Chandanagar police department. Firefighting teams acted quickly to prevent further escalation of the incident and loss of life.
