Former CM NTR’s death anniversary held

Hyderabad: The 25th death anniversary of Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao was held in a grand manner in two Telugu speaking states. The national president of the Party Nara Chandrababu Naidu paid floral tributes at the statue of NTR at the central office of the party located in Amaravati.

Speaking on the occasion he said that works done by  NTR would remain in the hearts of the Telugu people. He claimed that the enemies would get a shudder when they heard his name.

Naidu termed NTR as a great leader and added that none can replicate the history created by NTR after his entry into politics. He recalled that NTR had also ruled the film industry by acting in 292 movies.

Naidu demanded the central government to confer the highest civilian award of the country Bharat Ratna on NTR. He made it clear that his Party would fight till the award was conferred on NTR by the center. He said that it was NTR who brought all Non-Congress political parties on one platform.

He also said that NTR had also excelled in national politics. Citing that they would soon celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of NTR, Naidu hoped that they would achieve the Bharat Ratna by his birth anniversary.
