Hyderabad: Former MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy on Friday lodged a complaint against Ibrahimpatnam RDO Amarender with state election commission alleging that the RDO had deliberately issued proceedings removing the names of the present MPP of Ibrahimpatnam, Niranjan Reddy and Manchala ZPTC, Mahipal from the voters’ list. He also alleged that the RDO issued the proceedings without holding any inquiry on form-7 complaints.
In his complaint, Reddy alleged that the RDO had acted in favour of ruling party in the last year’s assembly elections. He urged the state election commission to take action against the RDO for deliberately harassing the opposition party leaders by suspending him immediately. He warned that they would declare the next course of action if no action was initiated against the RDO.(NSS)
