Free Electricity, Rs 500 LPG Cylinder Launch Set for Feb 27

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced the launch of two additional guarantees on February 27th: 200 units of free electricity and LPG cylinders for Rs 500. AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi is expected to grace the launch event at Chevella as the chief guest, as confirmed by the CM.

Emphasizing the government’s commitment to its promises, Reddy highlighted the successful implementation of two previous guarantees: free travel for women in TSRTC buses and a hike in the Arogyasri limit to Rs 10 lakh from Rs 5 lakh.

During his visit to Medaram, where he participated in the Sammakka–Saralamma Jatara, the CM offered special prayers and presented offerings to the deity.

Addressing a press conference, Reddy mentioned ongoing discussions with banks to execute the Rs 2 lakh loan waiver scheme for farmers, assuring that positive news will follow soon. He reiterated the government’s dedication to fulfilling all assurances made during the Assembly elections.

Reddy proudly stated that within 60 days of assuming office, the government has filled 25,000 vacancies, including 6,956 staff nurses, 441 SCCL posts, and 15,000 police and fire department jobs. Furthermore, he announced plans to fill another 6,000 posts on March 2nd.

Regarding the government’s pledge to fill two lakh vacancies, Reddy stated that 25,000 positions have already been filled, with appointment letters handed over to selected individuals at the LB Stadium recently. He criticized KCR, KTR, and Harish for allegedly spreading falsehoods about the government’s efforts to fill vacancies.
