G Kishan Reddy Appointed as Telangana BJP President for the Fourth Time

G Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister for Tourism, took over as President of the Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday, succeeding Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar. This is the fourth time the party has entrusted Kishan Reddy with the leadership of the state BJP unit.

Kishan Reddy, accompanied by Eatela Rajendra and other party leaders, visited significant temples and memorial sites in Hyderabad before taking over as party president. They visited the Bhagyalakshmi temple in Charminar and the Kanaka Durga temple in Basheerbagh to pay their respects. They also paid their respects at the Martyrs’ Memorial and at the statues of BR Ambedkar and Jyotirao Phule.

Kishan Reddy was accompanied by several party activists on his travel from Charminar to the BJP State party office in Nampally, demonstrating the passion and support of party members.

Prakash Javadekar, BJP State election in-charge and Rajya Sabha member, Tarun Chugh, party state in-charge and Rajya Sabha member K Laxman, Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender, Dubbaka MLA M Raghunandan Rao, MP Soyam Bapu Rao, Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind, former MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, and other senior leaders attended the event.

Kishan Reddy’s appointment as the Telangana BJP president is a significant move by the party to strengthen its leadership in the state. With his past experience in the role and the support of other party leaders, Kishan Reddy is expected to play a pivotal role in leading the BJP in Telangana and preparing the party for upcoming political challenges in the region.
