Hyderabad : City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar has issued Preventive Detention order against a drug peddler Masaparupu Prasad, 26, of Mandapeta Town, East Godavari District.
Police said the accused was indulging in illegal and dangerous activities in peddling of Narcotic Drugs among the people under Hyderabad Police Commissionerate limits in an organized manner.
The accused and his accomplices were endangering the lives of youth and innocent people, causing irreparable damage to their vital organs, including Central Nervous System, mental and physical health and adversely affecting the public order and public health.
The Saidabad Police arrested the accused on February 4 and remanded him to judicial custody. The Preventive Detention order was executed on him on August 26 and he was lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda. (NSS)
