As per the latest reports, the Hyderabad City Police will be holding a ‘Gender Equality Run’ on International Women’s Day.
SHE Teams Hyderabad is ensuring that women in the city are made to feel special on International Women’s Day, in addition to creating a safe and secure environment for them every day.
SHE teams are organising a Gender Equality 2K and 5K run on March 8 at People’s plaza, Necklace road, in accordance with the theme ‘Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.’ Everyone is welcome to participate in both runs. They will be flagged off at 5.30 a.m. by eminent personalities from various fields as well as senior government officers.
For the SHE Teams run, online registration is open at www.ifinish.in, and offline registration is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at BHAROSA Reception, HACA Bhavan Opp. Assembly.

Participants will receive a T-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a breakfast. On March 5, registration will close at 6 p.m.

Women Run to take place on March 8
To mark International Women’s Day, GiggleMug Events is holding a run for women in the city. The theme of the race is to promote women’s leadership in climate action.
This run will take place on March 8 as part of The Business Women Expo 2022, which will be conducted from March 11 to March 13. In addition to the 2k run, there will be a 5k run.
The run will start at 5:00 p.m., and the runner’s group has set two run categories, exclusively for women. There are two categories: a 5 km run and a 2 km run.
