Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner has directed the Engineering officials to take up 87-lane km road repairing works along with filling of potholes and to complete works by September 10.
The Commissioner held a Spl meeting with Zonal Commissioners and senior Engineering officials today at GHMC Head office. The Commissioner said for 800 lane km of roads Rs 721 crore road repairing works are in progress. Around 200 lane km of Road Repairing works have been completed so far.
Keeping in view of the ensuing festivals of Ganesh Chaturthi, Moharrum and Dasara, the works must be completed in the time bound manner with quality, the Commissioner added. (NSS)
