Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner Dr B Janardhan Reddy, as a part of Telanganaku Harithaharam program, today participated in the Tree Plantation program at Krishi School at Rajendranagar Circle area along with Additional Commissioner (Urban Biodiversity)Krishna, Rajendranagar Circle Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Lakshmi and the management of the school.
Interacting with the students after plantation of saplings, the Commissioner asked the students to take up the plantation of saplings at their respective residences and also in their colonies. He also said they can take the saplings free of cost from the GHMC Nurseries and everyone must ensure protection of the plants to maintain greenery and make the city pollution-free. (NSS)
