Hyderabad: Double bed room housing colony at Kollur in Ramchandrapuram will be the biggest model housing facility in the country, GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore today said.
After inspecting the two bedroom housing colony works at Kollur, Dana Kishore asked the officials concerned to expedite the works and complete the project in a speedy manner on time. He also said Rs 135 crore was being spent for construction of 15,670 double bedroom housing units by the GHMC. The total housing facility is coming up in 124 acres and being constructed in 117 blocks, he said.
Referring to the facilities, Dana Kishore said the colony will get internal roads, drainage, sewerage plant and so on. He also said a school, anganwadi center, police station, fire station, bus stop and other facilities will be provided in the model colony. (NSS)
