On Friday, a GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) employee was killed in a terrible hit-and-run event in Hyderabad’s upmarket Banjara Hills neighbourhood after his two-wheeler was slammed by a speeding high-end vehicle. The victim, named as Bala Chander Yadav, was killed in the accident.
The vehicle involved in the incident has been identified by Banjara Hills police, although it has not yet been seized. According to Inspector Narender of the Banjara Hills police station, the accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
More information on the incident is still pending. Such hit-and-run instances emphasise the necessity of safe driving and the need to safeguard the safety of all road users. Authorities are working to bring the perpetrator to justice and provide the victim’s family closure.
