Ghulam Nabi Azad predicts landslide victory for Congress

Hyderabad: Congress floor leader in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad today predicted landslide victory for his party-led Grand Alliance in the State after the December 7 Assembly elections. He said the ruling party would be rejected by the people.

Addressing the media here today, Ghulam Nabi Azad alleged that the TRS, BJP and MIM parties are one and the same and added that the trio had a secret understanding with each other. “They attack each other during the day time and enter into secret agreements  during night time”, he said, adding that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao were twins when it comes to backtracking on their promises and cheating the people.

Mounting his attack against KCR, Azad alleged that the TRS leader didn’t fulfill his promise of making a Dalit leader as first CM of the new born State. He ridiculed KCR saying he was the first CM in the country, who doesn’t come to the Secretariat to discharge his duties and confines himself to his official residence. Such people should be confined to their residences completely”. The people should vote for the Congress as its leaders always move themselves with the people,” he said.  Azad also alleged that the MIM has joined hands with the TRS as it didn’t want development of the old city of Hyderabad.
