A 18-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a five-storied building at Abids, here on Tuesday. Police said, the woman was identified as Jaslin Kour of Barkatpura. She has reached fifth floor of the Mayuri Complex, Abids and jumped from it. “She died on the spot and the whole thing was recorded in CC camera,” said police.
According to sources upset over failure to qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) whose results were declared on Monday. Onlookers pleaded with the woman not to jump from the building, but she didn’t stop.
“The body was sent to Osmania Government Hospital for post-mortem,” informed police.
“A case has been registered and further investigation is underway,” police added.
