Hyderabad: Telangana State Government Pensioners’ JAC here on Saturday called upon all pensioners in the State to participate in “Maha Dharna” at Indira Park on July 25 in protest against the State government’s negligence to solve the pensioners woes.
In a pressnote here, Association president A Rajendra Babu said they conducted an emergency meeting on July 11 and decided to stage “Maha Dharna” to protest against the State government’s apathy towards pensioners. He said the association demanded that the Pay Revision Commission submit a report to the State government and to accept the report. He also said they demand that the government provide free health services to pensioners in all the hospitals. JAC of 23 pensioners’ association appealed to all pensioners to participate in the protest along with their families. The pensioner’s will do protest until government solves the problems. (NSS)
