Governor bids farewell to Raj Bhavan officers, staff of AP

Hyderabad: Bidding farewell to the officers and staff members of Raj Bhavan departing for the new Raj Bhavan at Vijayawada, Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan said the Raj Bhavan at Hyderabad has become a trendsetter in the country in many ways. He said the officers and staff members, who are going to join the new Raj Bhavan at Vijayawada, should emulate the good work done at the Raj Bhavan at Hyderabad and continue to work with the same commitment. In an emotional speech, the Governorsaid he will be missing their services at the Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad.

Secretary to Governor Surendra Mohan, Advisors  APVN Sarma, A.K. Mohanty, Liaison Officer  Vidyasagar also spoke recalling the services rendered by the departing officers and staff members. He said each of them contributed their mite for the success of the Raj Bhavan at Hyderabad.

Arjun Rao, Joint Secretary, Sasikala, Joint Director, Gouri Sankar, Press Secretary and other staff members thanked the Governor for the opportunity given to them to work in the Raj Bhavan during his tenure. The departing officers were felicitated by the Governor with presentation of a Memento and a shawl. They are expected to report for duties in the new Raj Bhavan at Vijayawada on Saturday. (NSS)
