Hyderabad: Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday handed over the donated soaps and notebooks to the Indian Red Cross Society representatives.
In response to the call given by Governor to the philanthropists to donate generously to the rain and flood-affected people, one Aramco company has donated soaps, while Lions Club Sanathnagar represented by Rama Devi has donated notebooks.

Another organization, Surakanti Malla Reddy Memorial Trust, represented by one Mahender Reddy donated notebooks.
All these donations were accepted by Governor at the Raj Bhavan Dispensary and has handed over the same to the IRCS representatives for the distribution to the flood-affected.
It may be recalled that Governor, earlier, had given a call to the philanthropists and others to donate generously to help the rain-affected.
In response to the call on Thursday, the Disabled Foundation chairman Dr. B. Vijay Bhaskar Goud donated Rs 1 lakh cheque to the IRCS through the Governor and some other organizations have donated blankets for the distribution to the flood-affected.
