On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, the Governor, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan hoisted the National Flag in front of the historic Durbar Hall at Raj Bhavan, here, on Sunday.
Later, she took the guard of honour and extended her wishes to the Raj Bhavan officers, staff, police, and security personnel on the occasion.
The Governor also personally distributed sweets to the staff members.
Later, she offered puja at the Raj Bhavan temple and left for Puducherry, where she is holding
