Governor Tamilisai, Minister Srinivas Welcome to PM Modi at Airport

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has abstained from welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Shamshabad Airport here. Modi came to the city on an official visit to attend events at ICRISAT and Muchintal.

Officials informed that the chief minister was not feeling well and could not turn up to welcome the prime minister. It is also informed that the chief minister who got fever may attend the Muchintal program if he feels well and temperature comes down.

On behalf of the state government Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, accorded a grand welcome to the prime minister at the international airport. The government has deputed Srinivas Yadav to accord welcome and send off the prime minister in the city. Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Minister T Srinivas Yadav, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, DGP Mahender Reddy and other officials have welcomed the prime minister at the international airport

Also some of the BJP leaders from the state were present at the airport to welcome Modi including Dr K Lakshma, Jithender Reddy, Raja Singh, DK Aruna and others.
