Govt has failed to prevent Covid virus: Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka

CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today lashed out at the State government and alleged that it had failed in containing the spread of Covid virus during the ongoing second wave of the virus. He also alleged that private hospitals of the state were looting the people of the state.

Speaking to media persons through a zoom meeting, he termed the task force formed by the state government as bogus. Targeting the Chief Secretary of the State Somesh Kumar he alleged that the CS was not working in a serious manner. He claimed that the CS  was seen eating biscuits in a meeting. He said that neither the first dose of the vaccine nor the second dose of the vaccine was being given in the state. He said that the state government had left the lives of the people of the state to the mercy of God.

Referring to the recent task force meeting, he asked state minister KTR and the CS as to why they did not take make the details of the meeting public. He said that the people of the state were forced to buy Remdesivir injections on the black market.  He alleged that the rulers of the state government had diluted the GO within 48 hours of its issuance. He said that the state government was appearing to be in a coma.

He said that a task force committee was formed by Tamil Nadu and added that the task force had leaders from the opposition parties. He said that the people of the state were suffering a lot due to the coronavirus and the ongoing lockdown. He claimed that the administration of the vaccine was stopped after KTR was appointed as the chairman of the task force .

He asked the state government to follow the advice of the opposition political Parties if it was not able to contain the virus. He demanded the state government to declare a health emergency in the State.
