Govt receives HC order copy, CM to discuss on RTC strike

Hyderabad: In the wake of the continuation of the RTC strike for the 18th day today, the State government on Tuesday received a copy of the orders of the High Court to hold talks with TSRTC employees’ unions to end the stir and related issues.

Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar and officials concerned informed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao about the receipt of the court order. The Chief Minister asked Government Advisor Rajiv Sharma to study the court copy and give a report on the matter.

The Chief Minister is to hold talks this evening with the minister concerned and officials to work out a strategy. KCR is said to have asked them to get prepared to hold talks with the employee’s unions on the RTC strike in the state. The State government is to respond to the court with its version by October 28 on holding talks with the unions and action taken on alternative arrangements of buses,  salaries pending, loss due to RTC strike and other issues.
