Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao today condoled the death of Nandamuri Harikrishna by placing wreaths on the body at the latter’s residence in Mehdipatnam here. First KCR and then the Governor visited the residence of Harikrishna and consoled the family members. Harikrishna met with a fatal accident at Narketpally in Nalgonda district this morning hours when he reportedly lost control of the car he was driving and hit a divider. They consoled the family members including Junior NTR, Kalyan Ram, N Balakrishna, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and others at the residence of Harikrishna. The body was shifted from Kamineni Hospital in Narketpally followed by an autopsy after the car accident took place at Anneparti.
He directed Chief Secretary, SK Joshi to take necessary steps for last rites by contacting the family members with state honour. KT Rama Rao said that the last rites will be performed at Maha Prasthanam crematorium at Jubilee Hills on Thursday. Necessary arrangements are being made to avoid inconvenience to people to pay last respects to the departed soul, he said.
Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali, Minister KT Rama Rao, Cinematography Minister, T Srinivas Yadav, Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Nannapaneni Rajkumari and others paid respects to Harikrishna. (NSS)
