Vijayawada : BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Naraimha Rao today demanded that the AP government reveal details of IT companies set up in the State. He alleged that the State government failed to furnish information sought by the Union government for setting up of Kadapah steel plant. The TDP government was levelling baseless charges against the Modi government to cover up its own failures, the BJP MP alleged.
GVL Naraimha Rao accused the TDP government of trying to utilise both situations that the hunger strike organised by TDP in support of steel plant and recent cyclone that devastated Srikakulam district as an election issue. He alleged that TDP MP C M Ramesh diverted hundreds of crores of rupees through IT benami companies and how such a person can continue as member of Public Accounts Committee (PAC). He demanded immediate resignation of Ramesh from PAC. Some benami companies have been set up to loot public money, he alleged. (NSS)
