Handloom Melas to be held at all major Hyderabad Metro Rail Stations

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metro Rail would work with FMC to organise Handloom Melas in all the Major Metro Railway Stations in the city very soon, declared NVS Reddy, Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro Rail.

He was speaking as the Chief Guest at the 6th Annual Summit of Facilities Management Council (FMC) Telangana, the professional body of Facilities Management industry in the Telangana State. NVS Reddy said the Metro Services will be extended to Miyapur, LB Nagar by the end of August or first week of September. Similarly Metro will commence its services to Hitech city in October or November this year.

It is 230 days since Prime Minister launched Metro in the city. Some 85,000 passengers are commuting through Metro Rail every day in the city, he said, adding two malls were already opened and two more will come up at Erramanzil and Moosarambagh.

Speaking on the occasion, Satyanarayana Mathala, President of FMC said the FMC would work with GHMC to propagate plastic free offices, Hyderabad Metro to promote last mile connectivity and with Govt of TS to promote Handloom Monday in the IT Industry. Facilities Management Council’s 6th Annual Summit 2018 was held at Cyber Convention Center on Friday till late aimed at celebrating the achievements of Facility Managers of various organisations and domains, added Satya. “We are helping the State Government achieve their goal of bringing in a large number of global organisations to Telangana, informed Satya.
