Harish Rao Minister of Telangana tests Covid-19 positive

Two days before the initiation of Telangana state council meeting, Finance Minister T. Harish Rao has tested positive for Covid-19.

The minster took to Twitter on Saturday to proclaim that he is tainted with COVID. But however, he said that he was “fine”.

He wrote on twitter “On getting initial symptoms of coronavirus, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine,”
The minister, who is a nephew of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, mentioned each one of the individuals who interacted with him over the most recent couple of days to isolate themselves and get COVID tested

In the meantime, cousin of Harish Rao and bureau partner K.T. Rama Rao wished him a speedy recovery.

Industry Minister Rama Rao tweeted, “Get well soon Bava. I am sure you’ll recover faster than others,”

In June, Harish Rao had moved into isolation after his own partner had examined Covid-19 positive. Despite the fact that the minister had tested negative, he went into self-isolation at his home as a reasonable step.

Prior to Harish Rao, Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali had also tested positive and was admitted to a hospital. He managed to recover in two or three weeks. This makes Harish Rao the second Telangana minister to test positive for COVID-19

Harish Rao has tested positive a few days before the Telangana governing body meeting is set to start.

Assembly Speaker P. Srinivas Reddy and Council Chairman G. Sukhender Reddy on Friday requested that all lawmakers go through the tests for COVID-19 by September 6.

The monsoon session of both Assembly and Council is planned to start on September 7. The managing officials of both the Houses have made it required for individuals to show COVID-19 negative reports to go to the meeting.

While diagnostic centers have been set up in Assembly and Council premises for lawmakers, those present in areas have been asked to go through tests at their individual spots.

The COVID test has been announced obligatory for all staff individuals from governing body, minister’s assistants, security faculty and media people covering the meeting.
