Harish Rao slams Centre, Andhra Pradesh on Krishna water

Finance Minister Harish Rao today criticized that the Krishna water row is being compounded with the Centre’s delaying attitude and sparring behavior of Andhra Pradesh state.

Despite that Telangana will achieve its share in Krishna water by a legal fight, he asserted.

Participating in Professor Jayashankar Jayanthi at Sidhipet district the minister paid rich tributes to Telangana ideologue. Jayashankar dedicated his life to Telangana state. We have achieved our share in the Godavari with Jayashankar’s inspiration he said adding that due to two governments’ attitudes we could not get our share.

Telangana is fighting at Supreme Court to get Krishna’s share and will win he hoped. Despite Centre delaying to take a decision and the AP Government creating hurdles, Telangana is not ready to lose its share he asserted.

We will get our Krishna share at any cost, Harish said. The minister took a swipe at the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led AP Government for trying to create problems in Krishna water. The Jagan Government is violating norms and constructing the projects he charged.

Harish Rao accused the Andhra Pradesh Government of coming in the way of water row. The Centre government attitude was leading to confusion on the Krishna water row he charged. The minister took serious exception to the AP Government for trying to loot Telangana water through illegal projects.

With Jayashankar aspirations and inspiration Telangana is going ahead on the right path of development, he claimed.

The KCR Government, he said, will get its share of Krishna water by a legal fight at the national level, he said. We honored Jayashankar by giving his name to a district and a university. Jayashankar dreamt for statehood and fought for it since his childhood.

He guided the leaders to achieve statehood and now efforts are being made to see that his dreams of a self-sufficient state come true. We can offer real tribute to Jayashankar by following his ideals for all-around development he said.

The state government has come up with several welfare schemes for the purpose, which are proving ideal at the national level, he added.
