Heavy Rainfall Expected in Hyderabad and Telangana, IMD Issues Orange Alert

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange signal for Hyderabad and adjoining Telangana districts, suggesting the possibility of rain in the next hours. Thunderstorms are forecast in the city, with maximum surface wind speeds ranging from 41 to 61 kmph.

IMD Hyderabad has also predicted heavy rain in Telangana from July 12 to July 15. Adilabad received the most rain in the last 24 hours, with 126 mm, while Khairatabad and Shaikpet in Hyderabad received only 0.5 mm.

Temperatures in Hyderabad and neighbouring districts have fallen, with many regions recording high temperatures of less than 35 degrees Celsius. The maximum and minimum temperatures in Hyderabad were 32.9 degrees Celsius and 24.5 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Residents are encouraged to take appropriate precautions and plan their journey based on projections published by IMD Hyderabad and the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS).
