The Telangana High Court today heard the citizenship case of the ruling TRS party MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh.
It asked the counsel for the Respondent and congress leader Adi Srinivas to submit the documents related to Ramesh in book form before it.
The counsel for Ramesh told the HC that the MLA was an Indian citizen and added that he had gone to Germany as an Indian citizen. However, the counsel for the respondent reiterated that Ramesh was a German citizen and added that the MLA was still living in the same country.

It may be noted that Ramesh had approached the Apex Court of the state challenging the decision of the Union home Ministry canceling his citizenship by terming him a German citizen.
The rival of the MLA Adi Srinivas approached the HC alleging that Ramesh had dual citizenship.
