Higher Number of COVID-19 Recoveries Than New Infections in Telangana

Hyderabad: On Friday, Telangana revealed a higher number of recoveries from COVID-19 than the new cases over the last 24 hours.

Telangana included 2,009 cases however 2,437 recovered from the infection, While the count of positive COVID cases rose to 1,95,609, the recoveries additionally hopped to 1,65,844.

The state’s improvement rate increased further to 84.78 percent against the national average of 83.5 percent.

Of the new cases, 293 were registered in Greater Hyderabad. Medchal Malkajgiri region registered second most number of cases at 173 followed by Rangareddy 171, Karimnagar 114, Nalgonda 109, Khammam 104, Suryapet 77, and Warangal Urban 72.

Over the last 24 hours, 54,098 tests were led. With this, the combined numbers have gone up to 31,04,542.

The state officials permitted one more private laboratory to direct the tests. With this, 17 government-operated laboratories, 1,076 Rapid Antigen test centers, and 44 private labs are leading 50 the tests.

As per a media release from the office of the head of public health and family welfare, out of 54,098 samples examined over the last 24 hours, 23,803 were primary and 6,492 were secondary.
