Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail route between Hitech City and Raidurg will be opened on Friday for the commuters. The train test runs were conducted and the HMRL authorities also gave safety clearance to start operations on the route from Friday.
In a message posted earlier on the HMRL Twitter handle, Managing Director NVS Reddy said, “Hitec city-Raidurg metro stretch (1.5 km) is ready and Commission of Railway Safety (CMRS) inspection will be done soon. After this safety clearance, the stretch will be inaugurated by Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD) KT Rama Rao and Transport Minister P Ajay Kumar in the morning of November 29.”
